We believe that museums and older people enrich each other. We aim to develop innovative and collaborative opportunities by bringing people together. As well as museum, galleries and arts professionals, the Network includes those from health and social care, voluntary sector, research professionals and older people themselves.
The Age Friendly Museums Network is supported by the Baring Foundation over the next 2 years and offers free workshops and training, explores and shares good practice and encourages creativity and new initiatives. To join the Network follow the link: http://eepurl.com/_Kbev
We are currently organising a Cross-sector training workshop: “Working with older audiences: exploring diversity and sustainable partnerships” on Thursday 25th June 9.30am – 4pm (lunch and refreshments provided)
