Join an audience of business leaders, employers and experts on age, health and employment.
For the first time this new Employer Resource and associated Healthy & Productive Workers Leaflet brings together some of the best, simplest tools to provide employers with practical solutions for managing a healthy productive ageing workforce. It has been designed as an easy to use resource for employers of all sizes and business support organisations.
Business and expert organisations on age and health have come together in the Age Action Alliance’s Healthy Workplaces group to provide employers with practical solutions for managing a healthy productive ageing workforce. People are living longer: by 2024 half the adult population and a third of the workforce will be aged over 50. Combining work and the care of younger and older dependents is becoming an increasing feature of our working lives.
To remain competitive employers need to attract and retain workers of all ages to ensure a skilled and experienced, productive workforce. Those employers who do not, risk higher costs through increased absenteeism, lowered job performance and premature loss of expertise.
This free breakfast event at one of the premier business addresses in the City of London will include refreshments and keynote speakers from the business community highly acclaimed for their positive contribution towards supporting healthy ageing workforces. They will share their experiences and the issues faced by employers.
